A Record-Breaking Year & A Bold New Vision for 2026
The 2025 Westover Field of Lights reached a historic milestone. Over 35,000 families and neighbors walked through 350,000 synchronized lights to experience a Christmas celebration unlike any other: completely free, deeply meaningful, and unforgettably joyful.
From just 14,262 attendees in 2021, we have grown nearly 150% in five years. This growth is a testament to the power of generosity, community partnership, and a shared commitment to bringing light to our city during the holiday season.
For 2026, we are reimagining the Field of Lights with an entirely new story and refreshed theme. Our vision is bigger, bolder, and even more impactful. With your partnership, we will welcome even more families while deepening the community impact that makes this event truly transformational.

Westover Field of Lights will include:
- A Christmas wonderland walk-through composed of over half a million synchronized lights
- Beautifully-rendered nativity scenes
- Family Fun Zone with exciting games, affordable concessions, and several photo opportunities, including a free photo with your favorite characters
Why are we doing this? Westover loves the people of San Antonio. We believe in the Hope of Christmas and want to share that message with our community … and besides, there’s nothing quite like thousands of sparkling Christmas lights.
Similar area walk-through events are nearly $35 per person. But Westover Field of Lights is a FREE event for everyone!
We are seeking sponsorships to defray some of the significant financial investment Westover has committed to make this event happen.

Dream Team Meal Sponsor: Provide a meal for 300 Dream Team volunteers or contribute $500 cash.
- 25 tickets to the Field of Lights Opening VIP Night, including free refreshments
